Boilermaker

Qualifications: - Matric (Grade 12 Certificate) - Qualified Boilermaker - Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license Experience: - 3 5 Years experience in a similar position - Must be able to weld and do some rigging - Sound knowledge of electrical systems Lubrication and maintenance of the entire plant. Planned preventative maintenance of the feed mill. Downtime to be minimized at all times. Ensuring, at all times, plant and product quality. Follow the planned maintenance schedule and record the work on the maintenance record sheets. Continuously observe the plant to identify potential problem areas, bottle necks and possible areas where contamination can occur Take the necessary actions to prevent and eliminate all potential areas of feed contamination and feed deterioration as well as machinery deterioration as a result of engineering work performed. Ensure that you are aware and pay attention to urgent breakdowns or items affecting plant efficiencies and quality on a daily basis. Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, following blueprints. Work involves use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles. Assist in testing assembled vessels. - Direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. - Inspect and repair boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, automatic control mechanisms, water columns, and auxiliary machines.
