Diesel Mechanic

Duties: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, to keep trucks in optimal condition Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck components Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs Use computerized diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and analyze vehicle systems Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably specializing in trucks Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
