Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager who is well versed in imports and export of FMCG goods. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: A full understanding of the Import/Export Logistics process with experience in frozen and perishable goods. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or similar field. Must have a full understanding of supply chain processes. Experience in import and export procedures for both ocean freight and road freight preferred. Good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems (Office, Macro, Syspro, etc.) Soft Skills: Excellent organisational and project management skills. A strategic and analytical mind. Must have creative problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Must be an effective communicator with leadership capabilities. Must be able to work in a high-pressure, deadline driven environment. Must be able to train and guide team members. Main Duties/Key Results Areas: Analysing Supply Chain Data and Performance Create the company’s supply chain strategy. Lead time form PO to Import Permit. Shipping integrity versus PO dates. Transit times versus PO lead times. Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to identify bottlenecks. Customer delivery/intake analysis. In store dwell time.
