Job Description

Job Description: As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of fencing and security products to clients in the mining and hardware industries. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong ability to work under pressure. You will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence. Responsibilities: Engage with existing clients and prospect new clients to increase sales. Deliver presentations and demonstrate products to clients. Negotiate contracts and close agreements. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals. Participate in stock takes as required (twice per annum on weekends). Manage company-provided resources, including a cell phone and vehicle, for business purposes. Requirements: Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in field sales, specifically within the mining and hardware industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency is an advantage. Strong computer literacy; experience with Syspro is beneficial. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a clear focus on high-quality client service. Ability to handle the demands of a full work schedule (07:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday) and additional hours during bi-annual stock takes. Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation. Employment Terms: Probationary period of approximately 3-4 months. Basic monthly salary: R16,000. Benefits include annual leave typically scheduled over the December/January period, a company cell phone, and a company vehicle with fuel for business travel.
