Job Description
Key responsibilities : Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the General Ledger. Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements. Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy. Assist in the preparation of financial statements up to trial balance. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. Comply with relevant legal requirements, including VAT, tax filings, and other statutory requirements. Support the Senior Bookkeeper and finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks. Utilize SAP software for various accounting and financial processes. Requirements : Financial Tertiary education is preferable. Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles gained in an importing / exporting environment. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organising abilities. Good with numbers and the processing of financial information. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with honesty and integrity. A team player with good communication skills.
