Depot Manager - Fresh Produce

Minimum Requirements: Matric (Any tertiary qualification would be an advantage). Minimum 3 years experience in procurement and sales of fresh fruit and vegetables is a MUST. Extensive product knowledge of fresh produce varieties. Management experience of a small team (3-5 people). Excellent computer literacy. Responsibilities: Lead the team and manage business operations. Maintain productive relationships with current and new producers and clients. Fully responsible for procurement and sales within the business. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business. Analyze sales and finance reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth. Ensure profitability of the business. Report to Directors on all business aspects. Characteristics: Energetic and outgoing. Communication. Attention to detail. Staff management. Problem solving. Negotiation skills.
