Mechantronics / Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities: Design and develop machinery for cabinetry and woodworking applications, considering industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather specifications, conceptualize designs, and create detailed engineering drawings using CAD software. Apply technical expertise to optimize machinery performance, enhance productivity, and improve the precision and quality of cabinetry and woodworking processes. Conduct thorough analysis to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime for clients. Communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical assistance, and offer recommendations for machinery improvements. Stay updated with advancements in cabinetry and woodworking techniques, materials, and industry trends to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise. Manage projects effectively, ensuring tasks are prioritized, deadlines are met, and resources are utilized efficiently. Promote a strong focus on customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional support, resolving client concerns, and providing training and guidance on machinery operation and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the design and implementation of machinery solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, electrical systems, and automation. Proficiency in CAD software for designing machinery and engineering drawings. In-depth knowledge of cabinetry design principles, woodworking techniques, and materials. Familiarity with woodworking machinery, CNC technology, and industry-specific safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery faults effectively. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines. Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and industry advancements.
