Job Description

Operations Associate Toronto, Ontario, Canada Webull Securities (Canada) Limited is a CIRO registered member firm providing an order execution only retail investing platform. Our current offering includes global market data, news, charts and trading in US and Canadian equities. We are looking for a talented securities operations professional in the Toronto area to join our Webull Operations team and support our Canadian expansion offering to Canadian residents. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high quality trade reconciliation processes, procedures, controls, and overall best practices supporting Webull Securities Canada trading activities Reconcile securities trading activity and fund transactions with Webull’s carrying broker as well as various third-party partners Act as the primary point of contact for the introducing broker dealer to triage and assess operational issues impacting the Canadian business Conduct all operational tasks including: resolving daily trade breaks, trade settlement issues, journals, corporate actions, dividends, transfer ins/outs, position and cash reconciliations. Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the processes, procedures, systems, markets and instruments within the Canadian securities industry (equities and options) Deliver objective analysis of operational risk, error trends and identify root causes Contribute to ongoing company projects and key deliverables providing operational guidance and support while ensuring thorough resolutions of operational issues Perform other operational duties as required Requirements: Undergraduate degree Canadian Securities Course and other Canadian Securities Institute courses considered an asset Experience in banking and securities operations within the Canadian securities industry Familiarity with treasury funds management and transactions (EFTs, E-transfers, wires) Experience with securities operations processes: account transfers, security code administration, daily trade reconciliation, cancel/corrections, client journals/movements, corporate action event processing, trade settlements, new account opening/closure support Strong sense of urgency when it comes to support resolution and problem solving Familiar with Canadian banking and CIRO member firm broker dealer regulations Creative, fast-learner with an exceptional attention to detail Motivated, self-starter who can also collaborate effectively with other departments Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Webull promotes diversity and provides equal opportunity for all applicants and employees.
