In this challenging role, you will be responsible for selling our product range of motors, drives, industry 4.0 solutions and related products to our customers in Wallonia, Brussels and the G.D.-Luxembourg and will focus on our French speaking customers. In the Belux, Motion employs 50 people who are responsible for the sales and service activities for the motors and the frequency inverters supplied by ABB. Job description Maintain long-term business relationships, drive sales volume and margins across the portfolio Build and maintain strong customer relationships through service excellence and knowledge of customer needs and ABB Motion solutions, including regular customer visits and participation in various events Contribute to the identification and development of new market opportunities, in collaboration with the wider sales team, including the Sales Support team Monitor customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team Prepare commercial plans and offers in collaboration with Marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy Maintain and feed the customer database Make technical presentations and provide technical support to our clients Assume customer ownership by remaining the first point of contact for the customer Negotiation of prices and terms and conditions with the customer Embody ABB's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while supporting your colleagues and the company Profile Higher education diploma (bachelor and/or master) in electrical engineering, electromechanics. Or you have an economic education and have an affinity for the technical field. Sales experience in the electromechanical drive systems sector Passionate about technology, you enjoy working in an innovative environment Good command of French and English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset Result-oriented, you have a strong commercial sense and good interpersonal skills Ability to develop and manage customer relationships Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Offer Be a proud participant in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and create a sustainable future for our plan-et, and for your professional career.
