About the Company Our client is an international Financial Services organisation that is looking for a Capital Markets Data specialist to join the team and assist with a wide range of transformations that are happening throughout the business. About the Role Capital Markets Data Governance – Market Data Lead Location: London Type: Permanent Opportunity Responsibilities Lead governance efforts for market data, ensuring critical datasets are properly managed and controlled. Develop and refine data quality rules through profiling and stakeholder engagement. Implement access and sharing controls for internal and external data usage. Facilitate working group sessions to track progress, resolve issues, and align on milestones. Provide subject matter expertise to Front Office teams on data priorities and governance. Lead discussions on data strategy and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define best practices. Qualifications Extensive experience in Capital Markets, particularly within Front Office environments and change initiatives. Strong understanding of trade and market data, including derivatives, pricing, time series, and risk reporting. Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks such as BCBS239, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID, and IIROC.
