Maintenance Engineer Location: Bardney Salary: £42,000 per annum Hours: Days - Monday to Friday About the Role for the maintenance engineer We're looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing site based in Lincoln . You'll play a key role in ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of a range of large-scale industrial equipment. The site operates with a strong focus on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - currently running at around 90% planned maintenance - providing a structured and proactive working environment. This is a hands-on, primarily outdoor role , ideal for someone who enjoys working with heavy industrial machinery and varied maintenance challenges. Key Responsibilities for the maintenance engineer Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of site equipment. Ensure all electrical components , machinery , and safety systems are maintained to a high standard and compliant with regulations. Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and schematics to fault-find and repair effectively. Install, operate, and maintain electrical and pipework systems . Support project work , site improvements, and equipment upgrades. Continuously review and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) processes. What We're Looking For in the maintenance engineer Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role , ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and outdoors in all conditions. A proactive, safety-conscious approach and a drive for continuous improvement .
