Job Title: Technical Solution Engineer, Sales

Reports to: Key Account Manager –Mosaic
Location: Mulberry, Florida
Shift: 1st

Purpose / Summary:
Develop and maintain the knowledge on customers’ systems and applications. Work closely with the rest of the sales team to optimize and trouble shoot any of the customer systems. Be involved on frequent weekly site visits to analyze the systems/pump operation, and build up the relations and trust of our key customers together with the sales team. Ensure with the rest of the sales team, the sales growth for all KSB products and services. Work closely with the GIW product management and core engineering to ensure the product and service offerings match today’s customer requirements. Follow up with GIW teams, the tasks are closed in a timely manner. Start to develop business opportunities for the FL-based fertilizer plants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Understand the customers’ strategies and identify synergies with GIW.
2. Capable to drive technical improvement projects with the customer.
3. Establish and facilitate intercompany relationships.
4. Facilitate coordination of the company processes, and work with the teams to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue growth.
5. Assist other team members with customer development, including joint customer visits.
6. Develop, and maintain, a planned call schedule to ensure adequate customer interface; with the rest of the sales team.
7. Early recognition of the conflicts/problem areas for a quick resolution.
8. Facilitate technical support with the customer reliability engineers and GIW engineering group to troubleshoot and recommend solutions for existing and new applications.
9. Aid in providing recommendations to optimize maintenance and operational procedures on the customer sites, including preparation of the technical documentation and investigation reports related to application improvements.
10. Assist the rest of the sales team with developing appropriate strategies, goals, tactics, etc. for the benefit of the region and GIW.
11. Identify and initiate efforts for technological developments to differentiate GIW solutions
12. Available after hours and on weekends for customer emergencies.
13. Assists in the technical training & development of other GIW Sales Engineers and technical staff.
14. Comply with the company rules, policies and procedures.
15. Other duties as assigned by the KAM Mosaic, Florida

Education:

Knowledge & Experience:

• Mechanical and Technical aptitude (Should be capable of reading and understanding drawing layouts and parts sheets
• Understanding of pumping systems and customer applications
• Fluent in GIW selection tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
• Performance through people

Physical Requirements:

• Primarily desk-type duty
• Frequent walking and standing

Travel Requirements:

This position will serve as a liaison between the business and the customer, so frequent customer visits will be required to maintain a good working relationship.
