Director of Operations - Responsibilities: Work alongside the senior leadership team to define operational strategy and direction Oversee operations within the organisation Contribute towards building a high performing GMP team with a culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Lead the function ensuring that appropriate scientific, regulatory, and quality standards are followed across manufacturing facility design, construction, and validation, GMP operation system establishment Oversee the preparation and management of complex GMP manufacturing facility development plans, budgets, and long-range planning Provide scientific guidance and oversight while factoring in technical, regulatory, and intellectual property considerations and risk assessment Play a key role in directing future growth and success of the organisation Director of Operations - Requirements: Bsc. in Biology or related Life Science discipline, Msc. or PhD preferred, MBA also desirable Strong experience in product/process development and/or commercial manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles Leadership and managerial experience with a team of CMC development scientists and/or engineers (process chemists, analytical chemists, formulation scientists, technical operations), leading cross-functional projects, planning and delivering results within project deadlines Previous participation in portfolio decision-making Brings extensive industry experience and established network within industry Skilled in working collaboratively with Senior Management teams, as well as Partners and other key decision makers within the industry Mantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences headhunting firm.
