Mechanical Estimator

We are working alongside an established M&E contractor who are in search of a Mechanical Estimator to join their team located in Newcastle. Established over 30 years ago, our client offers the complete package for design and installation of electrical and mechanical building services projects. You would have exposure to large scale projects across Student Accommodation, Key Worker Apartments, Residential, Retirement and Commercial projects. Responsibilities: * To prepare full tenders and take responsibility for design and build projects and pre-designed projects * Ability to demonstrate understanding of tender / projects * To provide tender breakdown in logical format * To clarify your tender comprehensively * To identify and inform risks whilst carrying out tender * To identify and raise technical queries * Complete quotation analysis on all projects * Ability to provide accurate budget costs * Overall understanding of Estimation & Microsoft software * Produce tender submission documents * Meeting requirement deadlines What’s on offer? * Competitive salary package, including benefits * A realistic opportunity for progression whilst working on a wide variety of projects from inception to completion. * Regional work & job security If you are interested please send your CV to Ben
