Project Development Specialist

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in South Africa (Free State / Eastern Cape / Johannesburg) Role: Project Development Specialist (Renewables) Industry: Renewable Energy & Project Development Level: Senior Specialist Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy project development (all stages to ready-to-build) Proven experience with permitting processes for renewable energy projects Strong technical and business understanding of land acquisition and development processes Experience in renewable energy sectors (solar, wind, energy storage) with large-scale PV and wind project focus Knowledge of basic real estate legal principles for land acquisition navigation Experience working with local administration and regulatory authorities Understanding of grid connection processes and technical requirements Proficiency in English (written and oral communication) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 80% (primarily eastern South Africa) Experience with Eskom and other key stakeholders in the South African energy sector Ability to work across time zones and flexible hours Personal Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational and project management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Confident in public speaking and negotiation with landowners and community representatives Adaptable to remote work environments and international team collaboration Results-driven with ability to drive projects from greenfield to ready-to-build status Strong follow-up behavior and transparent communication style Collaborative team player who can support and mentor colleagues If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
