Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have expertise in personal injury law and be capable of managing cases from intake through settlement, including litigation. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal practice while working on diverse cases that require critical thinking and attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Handle personal injury cases through all phases, from initial intake to settlement or trial. • Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and related documents. • Conduct depositions and interviews with clients and witnesses. • Represent clients in court and attend trials as needed. • Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies. • Review and analyze case materials using document and case management software. • Manage client claims and provide guidance throughout the litigation process. • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal standards. • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. • Stay updated on legal developments and apply them to ongoing cases.• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury litigation. • Proficiency in legal software, including 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and case management tools. • Strong skills in drafting legal briefs, pleadings, and motions. • Experience with civil litigation processes, including depositions and trials. • Ability to manage claims and complaints with attention to detail. • Familiarity with document management systems and legal research tools. • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. • Active license to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
